" The Golden Touch "


Welcome to "The Golden Touch", a unique photographic project inspired by the legend of King Midas from Greek mythology. Midas, known for his greed, possessed the ability to turn everything he touched into gold. This power ultimately became a curse, as Midas found himself unable to enjoy food or drink, as even these turned to gold upon his touch.


This series of photographs explores the concept of transformation and the contrast between material wealth and the essence of human experience. I chose to convert the images into black and white, keeping gold as the only color that emerges. This choice creates a haunting contrast that emphasizes the allure and beauty of gold while simultaneously highlighting the emotional nuances of my subjects.


The goal is to provoke thoughts and feelings in the viewer, inviting them to reflect on the true value of things in a world where light and shadow coexist harmoniously. Through "The Golden Touch", I invite you to discover the magic of gold, not just as a material but as a symbol of hope, success, and the traps that the desire for wealth can conceal.
